Flow And Non-Resistance

Choosing to live in a state of flow and non-resistance allows all aspects of your life experience to proceed with freedom, grace, harmony and ease.

To determine your state in any given moment, simply notice how you feel in that moment. If you feel tense, stressed, constricted, blocked or otherwise “tight,” you’re in a state of resistance. If you feel relaxed, peaceful, free or otherwise “open,” you’re in a state of flow and non-resistance.

Resistance happens when our ego does not want to experience something, whatever it may be. This resistance in our mind creates tension in our physical body and lowers our overall vibration, which negatively affects the energies that we’re sending out. As a result we actually feed whatever we resist with more energy, which draws more of it to us.

To shift your state into one of flow and non-resistance, whenever you feel resistance in any way, observe where your attention and thoughts are focused at that moment. Most likely, you’ll see that they’re focused on something that you don’t want.

At that point, consciously shift your attention and thoughts to what you do want, and keep them focused there. Allow what you want to flow to you, and be open to receive it.

Simultaneously, allow yourself to let go of all attention and thoughts of what you don’t want. Don’t resist or pushing against them in any way; just let them go. If that involves physically removing yourself from a situation, then do it.

Letting go of what you don’t want doesn’t mean ignoring, denying or disregarding it in any way. You simply acknowledge its existence, and then shift your focus to what you do want, instead.

When you stop adding energy to what you don’t want, and consciously direct your energies to what you do want instead, you align with it and allow it to move towards you.

In doing so, you consciously choose to live in a state of flow and non-resistance.
