Sometimes It’s Okay to Say “No”

Many, if not most of us, find it difficult to say “no” to some situations, experiences, and people; even when we know they’re not in our best interests.

The need to please others is often the reason for this tendency. We may be afraid to cause disappointment, incite a negative response, or be judged unfairly. It’s a conditioned behaviour that has developed and expanded in us since we were born. Most likely, our parents and other people in our lives, such as authority figures, friends and social groups, developed the same or similar conditioning themselves, and we bought into it in order to feel “accepted” or even loved.

The need to please others is a product of our ego, which feels separate from all it perceives as outside itself. Ego always seeks validation from sources outside itself, in order to feel accepted and worthy.

Ego believes that we are “not enough.” It tells us to please others and “do more” in order to be “enough,” yet it is never satisfied. Ego will never believe that we are enough.

Being unable to say “no” to others, or ourselves, even when we know that saying “yes” is not in our best interests, is caused by the belief that we are unworthy exactly as we are, right here and now.

To move beyond this tendency, you simply need to remember, and truly realize, that you are enough, and you are worthy, now and always. All of us are expressions of the Divine; therefore, we are always enough and worthy. You know this in your heart; you may have just temporarily forgotten it.

By allowing ourselves to remember who we are, we can experience the Divine truth of our Self. You are above no one and beneath no one. Only the illusions of ego and separation would have you believe otherwise.

So if and when find yourself in a situation where you your heart tells you that it’s better to say “no,” remember that it’s okay to do so. Say “no” with respect, kindness and Love for all involved.

You are enough and you are worthy, exactly as you are!

All Is Well And Good

Regardless of external appearances, we can rest assured that all is well and good, now and always.

In our hearts we are already aware of this fundamental truth. As the apparent chaos of our world plays itself out we may become distracted, but the truth is always present and available within us.

Anytime you feel fearful, stressed, overwhelmed, worried or concerned about anything, just take a few moments to relax, breathe and center in your heart.

Let go of the mind’s fears. Relax into the peace, clarity, truth and Love that is always in your heart, and allow it to expand and fill your entire being.

Allow yourself to Be the Love that you are!

All is well and good.

Love and Let Go

As our energies continue to rise, as individuals and collectively as One, we feel and experience more of the “old” coming up for healing and release. The greater the light, the more darkness is revealed.

We see this very clearly in the outside world, around the planet in society, culture, politics and more, as well as in family, friends and other interpersonal relationships. And of course, we see and feel it in ourselves. Everything is energy, and everything is connected: we are all One.

As energies come up for healing and release, we can choose our response. We can react in fear by fighting and resisting, thereby adding to them and preventing healing and release, or we can respond consciously by choosing to love them and let them go.

Whatever the “old” may be, consciously loving it and letting go feels so much better than fighting and resisting it. By healing and releasing the old, we open up to create and receive the “new” into our experience instead.

Always remember that you are Divine. You are eternally safe, protected and unconditionally Loved; indeed, you are Love.

All is well and good.

Clear Out Clutter!

Clearing out “clutter” is one of the best things we can do to liberate ourselves.

By clearing out and releasing clutter in our physical, outer world and experience, we clear out and release clutter in our energetic, inner world and experience as well. We release old attachments and stuck energies, and open ourselves to the higher energies of “New” and “NOW” that are always present in all of us.

Our ego often clings to the old because ego always looks outside of itself for fulfillment. Ego attaches to material things, possessions and people as well as thoughts, emotions, situations, ways of being and more.

In truth, our inner and outer worlds are one and the same anyway. Everything is energy, and all that we create and experience “outside” of ourselves is a reflection of our consciousness and state of being within.

When you’re ready to clear out clutter inside and out, letting go of physical clutter is a great place to start. Try it and notice what happens. Start small: clear out a closet; get rid of things stacked in the garage or shed; sort out and get rid of some old books; empty some old boxes in the attic; clear out clutter in the workshop; let go of whatever you have been holding onto “because you might need it someday.” Dispose of it, sell it, donate or give it away.

After you clear out physical clutter, notice how you feel. Lighter, perhaps? When you clear out physical clutter, you clear out energetic heaviness and baggage too. Lightening the load on the physical level will help you feel noticeably better on other levels too.

Of course, your ego may kick up a fuss and try to disrupt your clearing process, perhaps by bringing up fears of what might happen if you let go of what you’re clearing out, or by bringing up old sentiments and memories attached to it. Just let the ego know that it’s okay, it’s time to move on, and there are always new and better things just waiting to flow into your experience!

As you initiate this process and notice that you do feel lighter, happier, and more open, inspired and free, you give yourself more incentive to continue with it. If ego was resistant initially, it will eventually come around when it realizes how good clearing out clutter feels!

In clearing out clutter, we help ourselves to remember and realize that we are already whole and complete, now and always. We release old, stuck energies that were weighing us down, and we open ourselves up to the energies of “New” and “NOW” with infinite possibilities and potential!

What We Focus On Is What We Receive

What we focus on is what we receive. It’s very true that where our attention goes, energy flows. As a result, what we focus on is what we attract, whether we desire it or not.

We attract and receive what we focus on, whether consciously or unconsciously. The “Law of Attraction” applies to everyone and everything, regardless of whether we actually want something or not.

When we focus on things that we don’t want, we increase our chances of getting them. When we fear, resist, reject, fight, struggle with, or otherwise “push against” or “push away” something, we actually feed it with our energy and attract more of it into our experience.

That doesn’t mean that you should try to stop yourself from thinking about what you do and don’t want in your experience. Rather, be open to all experiences and reject none. Listen to yourself, be discerning, and then choose what you do and don’t want to experience. You can then let go of what you don’t want, with Love and gratitude for its appearance in your life, and shift your focus towards what you do want.

Visualizing that you have already received what you want, and giving thanks for it, is a very powerful part of this process. In doing so, you direct energy to flow towards what you want, and allow yourself to attract and receive it with Love, joy and gratitude.

Everything Matters

Everything and everyone has value. Everything and everyone is worthy. Everything and everyone is precious. Everything and everyone Matters.

Everything material Matters: every person and being in any form, all of nature, every material creation, and beyond;

Everything non-material Matters: thoughts, emotions, experiences, all energies of Creation, and beyond;

All that Is, Matters.

And as we choose to recognize, realize, honour, and Love ourselves as an integral, inseparable part of All that Is, we awaken to these truths (that we have always known in our heart):

I AM One with All that Is.

I AM THAT I AM.

As we begin to truly remember, and realize, these truths – not just intellectually understand them, but truly recognize, realize, experience, honour, and BE them – in ourselves, and in everything and everyone we perceive, experience, interact with and connect with, we step out of the “box” of duality and separation, and into Unity and Oneness with All, in Love.

We free ourselves to remember, recognize, realize, experience, honour, Love and BE the Divine in everything, including ourselves.
